As we gear up for BIO-Europe Spring® 2015 in Paris in March, Medicen’s activities are in full swing. Our mission is to highlight and reinforce the Paris Region as Europe’s leading center for innovations in medical devices and health technologies. We are dedicated to increasing collaboration opportunities for our over 200 life science member companies, and to increasing the competitiveness of our cluster.

The goal of Medicen’s competitiveness cluster is to build on synergies through increased collaborative projects aimed at giving partner firms the chance to become the best in their fields, both in France and abroad. The cluster covers large firms, research centers, universities, hospitals and economic development parks hosting biotechnology companies in the Paris Region, which includes Paris, Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Essonne, Yvelines and Val-d’Oise.

Our member companies benefit from Medicen’s efforts to promote the cluster through a variety of services that support R&D, business and international development support, partner sourcing, technology watching, funding support, trade show attendance and technological monitoring. We also provide access to national and international economic intelligence to enable SMEs to increase their potential for innovation through better knowledge of new related technologies

In 2014, Medicen facilitated financing for 247 projects worth EUR 846 million. We welcome international life science companies to experience the strength of the region by meeting our member companies at BIO-Europe Spring 2015 in Paris, March 9–11, 2015 at the Paris expo Porte de Versailles conference center. Come to Paris in the spring and access Europe’s largest innovation cluster.
