Biotech Showcase™ 2015As companies prepare for Biotech Showcase next week, many are sharing what they’ll be showcasing at the event. Below, we’ve highlighted just a few, but head of to the Biotech Showcase Presenters Page to see a full listing of all those who will present at this year’s event.

To get prepared for the event, we’ll be highlighting a few companies in today’s blog post:

Protea Biosciences provides innovative bioanalytical solutions and works on developing next generation direct molecular imaging and could lead to faster imaging of human disease. They present Monday, January 12 at 11AM ET and the presentation can be watched here. Source.

Asterias Biotherapeutics, a company that focuses on regenerative medicine. They will be presenting at Monday, January 12 at 1PM ET and the presentation can be watched here. Source.

Inovio Pharmaceuticals is an immunotherapy company that fights infectious diseases and cancers.  Their presentation can be watched here at 1:30PM ET on Monday, January 12.  Source.

Fibrocell Science focuses on rare and serious skin and connective tissue diseases with high unmet medical need. During their presentation, they will be looking at gene-modified autologous fibroblasts. Thier presentation will take place Monday, January 12 at 2PM ET. Watch it here.  Source.

Synthetic Biologics, a company that develops pathogens that target serious infections and diseases will present on Tuesday, January 13 at 5PM ET. The live broadcast can be watched here.  Source.

Navidea Biopharmaceuticals, a company focusing on precision diagnostics, therapeutics and radiopharmaceutical agents will be presenting Tuesday, January 13 at 5:30PM. their presentation can be watched here. Source.

Dipexium Pharmaceuticals works on the development and commercialization of Locilex® (pexiganan cream 0.8%), a novel, broad spectrum, topical antibiotic peptide. It is a product that can treat mild and moderate skin and skin structure infections. Their presentation will take place Tuesday, January 13 at 7:30PM ET. Source.

International Stem Cell Corporation focuses on creating novel stem cell therapies. Their technology crate pluripotent human stem cells from unfertilized oocytes and avoids any controversy that comes with the destruction of viable human embryos. Rexahn Pharmaceuticals develops therapies to treat cancer. Their current oncology candidates include Archexin®, RX-3117, and SupinoxinTM (RX-5902). They have also developed drug delivery technology platforms including Nano-Polymer-Drug Conjugate Systems (NPDCS), CPMA, 3D-GOLD, and TIMES.
